Privacy policy
Short version: we collect what you give us through the contact form, we use it to reply, and we don't sell it or pass it on. The detail is below.
Who we are
Necessity Squared (NSQD) is the data controller for nsqd.co. We work out of Jebel Ali, Dubai, United Arab Emirates and Wynberg, Cape Town, South Africa. Questions about this policy go to sulaiman@nsqd.co.
What the contact form collects
Your name, email address, phone number with its country code, the subject you pick, and your message. Name, email, subject and message are required. The form also has a hidden field that only bots fill in, which we use to drop spam before it reaches us.
Where it goes
Each submission is emailed to NSQD staff through Resend, our email delivery provider, and lands in our inbox. The site itself keeps no database of submissions. Resend handles the message only to deliver it, under its own privacy policy.
Why we use it and how long we keep it
We use your details to reply to you and, if the enquiry turns into a job, to run that job. We keep the email while the enquiry or project is live, then for as long as normal business records require. If you want it gone sooner, ask and we'll delete it.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics. It is cookieless, does not follow you across other sites and collects no personal data. We see page counts, referrers and rough country, nothing that identifies you.
The WhatsApp buttons on this site open a chat with us inside WhatsApp. From that point the conversation runs under Meta's terms and WhatsApp's privacy policy, not this one.
Cookies
The site sets no tracking cookies.
Your rights
This policy is written for UAE data protection law and South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email sulaiman@nsqd.co and we'll confirm within 30 days. In South Africa you can also raise a complaint with the Information Regulator.
